Problem to be solved
The goal of this project was to research a topic that we are passionate about, condense the information we find into a few main points, and display it in a visually engaging and meaningful way.
Research
This project involved both visual and written research. Visual research involved finding a look and feel that best emulated the emotion behind the topic, while the written research revolved around finding impactful statistics and facts that can help build awareness about the topic. A mind map was also used to help ideate graphics and elements that could be used in the design.
Sketching
After gathering research, sketches were made to determine what elements would be used, how to lay out the information, and the overall composition of the design.
Final Project
Once the layout was determined, and after a few rounds of feedback and revisions, the final infographic was made.
